Note that no memberships are required for participation in the Virtual show series.

Ontario Equestrian

REQUIRED FOR BRONZE AND SILVER SHOWS AND OUR CLINICS

Ontario Equestrian (OE) Membership is required for the horse owner, rider, and Person Responsible at all of our Sanctioned shows and clinics.

Equestrian Canada

REQUIRED FOR BRONZE AND SILVER SHOWS

EC Sport Licences are required for the horse owner, rider, and Person Responsible for EC Sanctioned shows. 

The rider, horse owner, and Person Responsible entering a Bronze competition must hold an EC Bronze Licence (minimum).

The rider, horse owner, and Person Responsible entering a Silver competition must hold an EC Silver Licence (minimum).

If you are competing as an Amateur rider, you must have the Amateur Status added to your EC licence (otherwise you may show as an Open competitor).

Note - Temporary sports licences are now discontinued at competitions. All riders, owners and coaches must possess a valid EC Sport License to participate in events

Equestrian Canada

Equestrian Canada Horse Recordings

REQUIRED FOR SILVER SHOWS

Horses in Silver competitions must have an EC Horse Recording and have paid the current EC Horse Recording annual Activation Fee to compete.

EC Horse Recordings are not required for Bronze competition. 

Temporary Horse Registrations have been discontinued.

Ontario Dressage (Optional)

Ontario Dressage memberships are not required to enter. However, to be eligible for Ontario Dressage awards, you need to join Ontario  Dressage by July 1st of the current year. Membership includes OntarioDressage newsletters and the ability to participate in Ontario Dressage awards and educational programs. Memberships can be obtained through Ontario Equestrian HORSEREG Portal.

Cadora INC (Optional)

CADORA Inc. is the Nationwide organization of Canadian Amateur Dressage Owners and Riders Association (CADORA). (Glanbrook CADORA is a local chapter!)

Cadora Inc memberships are not required to enter Glanbrook CADORA shows. But, to be eligible for National CADORA awards, you
need to join CADORA INC by July 1st of the current year. Members receive an Omnibus Test Booklet, CADORA Ink newsletters and the ability to participate in CADORA’s national awards and educational programs.

Dressage Niagara (Optional)

Note that Glanbrook CADORA members who are also a member in good standing with Dressage Niagara, and have shown in at least 2 Glanbrook CADORA in person shows may use scores from one (1) Dressage Niagara show towards Glanbrook Year End Awards (and vice-versa!). You must be a member of both clubs before your Dressage Niagara scores will count towards Glanbrook Cadora awards.
