2026 Year End Awards

Champion and Reserve Champion will be awarded for each of Introductory, Training, First, Second, Third, Fourth Levels, Western, Freestyle, FEI and Para. These awards are for horse/rider combinations from each of the Bronze and Silver competition series. The total of the three top scores from a minimum of two Glanbrook CADORA in-person shows will be used to calculate the championship placing, and at least one of the scores must be from the highest test level of the division (i.e. Test “C” or Test “3”). (Dressage Niagara members may use a test from a DN show as one of the three testss used to calculate the championship placing). Prizes presented at the Annual General Meeting.

Highest scoring test ridden by a Glanbrook CADORA Member aged 50 years or older, in a 2026 Glanbrook CADORA Bronze or Silver Show USDF tests, EXCLUDING Introductory Division. Rider to self-identify eligibility with show entry. No fees to enter other than class fees. Prize presented at the Annual General Meeting.

Highest scoring test in a 2026 Glanbrook CADORA Bronze or Silver Show by a Glanbrook CADORA Member who was a NEW member. Award plaque to be presented at the Annual General Meeting.

Any Glanbrook CADORA member who earned at least one score of “8” or better for the RIDER’S POSITION AND SEAT collective marks in one of the 2026 Glanbrook CADORA Bronze or Silver competitions. $25 cash prize award to be presented at the Annual General Meeting.

Licenced Coach with the Highest Accumulated scores from Glanbrook CADORA in-person shows from students who are Glanbrook CADORA members will be awarded a Coach of the Year Award. Coach is not required to be a Glanbrook CADORA member, but only scores earned by the students who are members will be eligible to be counted. Licenced Coach must be identified on the entry form, and scores from “self coached” entries will not be counted. $100 cash prize presented at the Annual General Meeting.

An engraved plaque is awarded annually to a volunteer who provides extraordinary service to Glanbrook Cadora shows and events through assistance with projects such as finding sponsorships or by hours of support given to support the club. This individual is identified by the Glanbrook executive members and is presented at the Annual General Meeting.
Through the ongoing collaboration of the two clubs, you can use 1 of your scores from Glanbrook CADORA’s show series towards the Dressage Niagara’s Year-End High Point Champion awards (and vice-versa!) Glanbrook CADORA members must also be a member in good standing with Dressage Niagara by Dressage Niagara’s first show date of the season and have shown at least 2 Dressage Niagara shows and up to 1 Glanbrook Cadora show to be eligible for the Dressage Niagara year-end awards.

If you are a member in good standing of Ontario Dressage (having joined no later than July 1st) your scores from Glanbrook CADORA’s Bronze and Silver shows will be submitted to Ontario Dressage and will be counted towards Ontario Dressage’s Year End Awards.

You only need 2 scores of 55% or higher from 2 different Silver shows (including Glanbrook CADORA’s Silver shows) to qualify. You do not need to be a member to participate in Championships however additional prizes (including cash prizes) are offered to Ontario Dressage members.

If you are a member in good standing of CADORA Inc (having joined no later than July 1st) your scores from Glanbrook Cadora’s Bronze and Silver shows may be eligible towards CADORA Inc.’s year end Awards programs. To qualify for these awards, riders are responsible for forwarding their scores to the Cadora INC Awards Coordinator.

The Century Club of Canada is open to anyone riding either English, Working Equitation Dressage or Western dressage. If the combined ages of the rider and horse are at least 100, and you are a member of CADORA Inc, your test sheet from the Glanbrook CADORA show can be submitted (along with proof of ages) to receive a rosette and plaque from the Century Club.
All memberships and licenses needed to show at a sanctioned show are required to use a test score from Glanbrook CADORA. You can compete “Hors Concours”.

If so, you are eligible to participate in the National Dressage Pony Cup Canadian Year End Awards. The National Dressage Pony Cup (NDPC) showcases the exceptional talent, training and commitment of ponies/small horses, their owners, breeders, trainers, and riders in the art and sport of dressage. NDPC encourages competition at every level, for riders of any ability, any age and ponies/small horses of any breed, or mix of breeds, to compete and enjoy their experience.
Both Rider and Pony/Small Horse must be registered with the NDPC for the current year by October 31st. Test scores from any Bronze, Silver or Gold dressage show (including Glanbrook CADORA’s Bronze or Silver shows) can be submitted including Pony (or Small Horse) classes.
